I have a bachelor's degree in biology and earned my doctorate in medicine, but I love teaching. I have 10 years of experience helping people learn at the postgraduate and collegiate level, as well as serving the community as an educator. As an undergraduate, I was a teaching assistant in biology and biochemistry courses, which included individual and small group tutoring. As a medical student, I became a tutor of MCAT preparation, providing tips and tricks for improving one's score on the exam. When I interned in medicine, I mentored and taught medical school students. During my residency, I gave lectures to medical students as well as visiting residents. I can tutor students in algebra, English, geometry, biology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, microbiology, organic chemistry, essay writing and editing, history, study skills and organization, and I can help students prepare for standardized tests like the MCAT and the SAT. My free time, I enjoy running, basketball, listening to music, and spending time with my nieces.
